Continue with Meta
Connect your WhatsApp Business API number to Agentim in a few clicks with Continue with Meta: no Meta app, token or webhook to set up, plus a fix for every error.
What it does#
Continue with Meta connects a number on the official WhatsApp Business API without copying any IDs or tokens. You sign in with Facebook, choose your WhatsApp Business account and number, and Agentim sets up the rest.
You need:
- A Facebook account that's an admin of your Meta Business account (or one you create in the Meta window).
- A phone number for WhatsApp that isn't in use on the WhatsApp app on a phone, or one already in your WhatsApp Business account.
- To be the owner or an admin of your Agentim account. Other team members see Only the account owner or an admin can connect a WhatsApp number.
Connect your number#
- 1
Open Channels
Click Channels in the sidebar. On WhatsApp · Official, click Open settings.
- 2
Click Continue with Meta
It's under Connect with Meta at the top (it may say Beta). If the button shows Loading Meta…, wait a moment. A Meta window opens. Keep the Agentim tab open while you finish there.
- 3
Sign in and pick your business
In the Meta window, sign in with Facebook and choose your business (or create one).
- 4
Pick or create the WhatsApp Business account
Choose an existing WhatsApp Business account, or create a new one with the display name customers will see.
- 5
Pick or add the number
Choose the number to connect, or add a new one and confirm it with the code Meta sends by SMS or call. If the account has several numbers, choose exactly one.
- 6
Keep every permission selected
When Meta lists what Agentim may access, leave everything ticked and click through to finish.
- 7
Wait while Agentim connects
The Meta window closes and Agentim shows Connecting your number…. This takes a few seconds.
- 8
Check the result
You see Connected: {your number} with its Display name and Quality (High, Medium, Low or Not rated yet), and a Connected pill.
After you connect#
- Click Open chatbots and publish a chatbot. It starts answering on the number right away.
- Add a payment method. To send templates (for example, messages after the 24-hour window), Meta needs a payment method on your WhatsApp Business account. Click Open WhatsApp Manager under the connected card and add one there.
- Nothing else to set up. There's no Meta app, token or webhook to configure.
- Test it: from another phone, send hi to the number. The conversation shows in Logs with your bot's reply.
To connect a different number later, or after an error, click Reconnect with Meta and go through the Meta window again.
If something goes wrong#
Every error appears under the button with a Try again link. Here's each message and what to do:
