Send Message
Send text, files, link buttons, locations and contact cards in order, then continue without waiting for a reply.
What it does#
Send Message sends one message, or up to 10 in a row, and the chat moves straight on to the next step. It doesn't wait for a reply.
Use it for greetings, confirmations, instructions, a file, your address or a contact card. To ask something and save the reply, use Text. To let the customer choose, use Buttons, Options or List.
Set it up#

Add Send Message
Drag Send Message onto the canvas, connect the step before into it, and click it.

Write the first message
Under Messages, write your text. Type @ or # to insert an earlier answer or variable, for example

Add more messages (optional)
Click Add and choose Text, Image, video or file, Link button, Location, Contact card or Pause. Fill in its fields. For a file, click Upload a file or Or paste a link.

Put them in order
Drag a message by its handle, or focus the handle and use the arrow keys. They're sent top to bottom.

Connect the next step
Connect Send Message to the step that comes next, such as a question or End.

Check the preview
Open the Phone preview tab to see the messages as the customer gets them, then test on the channel you use.
What your customer sees#
The messages arrive one after the other, and the chat continues right away. A Pause shows typing... for a few seconds before the next message (the website chat shows everything at once).

File limits: images (JPG, PNG) up to 5 MB, video (MP4) and audio up to 16 MB, documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TXT, CSV) up to 100 MB.
Common problems#

Example#
